The GO! Program

The GO! Program is open to all registered TWHBEA^SM geldings, regardless of age. Upon paying the annual nomination fee, the nominated gelding is eligible to participate in all categories of this program. The program is broken down by age into three divisions, performance, pleasure and versatility. Winners of these divisions will be the horses with the most overall points in their discipline at year’s end. The GO! Super Gelding Awards will be awarded to the geldings who were awarded the most points during the year in their division.

This program will run year to year, concurrent with TWHBEA^SM High Point Program and follow the guidelines of that program (double/triple point shows, etc.). These points will be recorded and records kept by TWHBEA^SM.

There will be an annual nomination fee of $20.00 for each gelding nominated. The owner of record at the conclusion of each point year as determined above will be the recipient of the Gelding Opportunities Program (GO!) cash awards which will be awarded at the TWHBEA^SM High Point Award Banquet. Said owner must be a member in good standing of TWHBEA^SM in order for points and awards to be valid. The accumulation of points will begin at the time the gelding is nominated, point accumulation is not retroactive.

The annual nomination fee shall be equally divided between The GO! Competition Division and The GO! Super Gelding Division. TWHBEA^SM will match the funds collected by nomination fees up the first 100 geldings nominated. The number will be reviewed at the March Executive Committee meeting for revision. There will be a 100% pay out of all monies.

The top five geldings in each division of The Gelding Competition Division (Category 1), will receive monetary awards, with recognition given also to geldings ranking 6-10. (Possibly giving all 1-10 winners a bonus discount for advertising in the Voice™ magazine in a special section for these winners). There will be only two winners with payout for The GO! Super Gelding Division, (Category 2), these winners being the two geldings (one from each category) with the highest overall points.
