TWHBEA Enjoys Successful Equine Affaire

Columbus, OH - Equine Affaire Ohio is in the books for 2013 and, once again, the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ And Exhibitor’s Association (TWHBEA) enjoyed one of it’s most successful horse fairs. The event, which took place April 11 - 14 at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio, attracted thousands of horse enthusiasts from around the world. The TWHBEA breed booth, located in the breed pavilion and manned by TWHBEA staffers Kristen Stegall, Michael Gray and Sarah Gee, included two stalls complete with breed ambassadors and an area with our breed display, plenty of literature, membership opportunities and gift shop items. It was a popular stop among Tennessee Walking Horse owners as well as those just looking to learn more about our great breed. In all, TWHBEA welcomed over 20 new members during the event and first time member Debra Prokop walked away with a brand new Tennessean Saddle as the winner of our membership drawing. In addition to the breed booth, the Tennessee Walking Horse was featured in several breed demonstrations and spotlights throughout the weekend. And, as if that wasn’t enough, Ranger T. Walker and Officer Ernie Brewbaker were very popular ambassadors in the Celebrity Horse area where they promoted the breed and TWHBEA’s Just Say Whoa program.
