TWHBEA Representatives Attend USLGE Meetings
Lewisburg, Tennessee - Owners/Exhibitors/International Vice President Jason Bachert and Marketing Coordinator Kristen Stegall represented the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ And Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) at the United States Livestock Genetic Export (USLGE) meetings held February 19 - 21, 2013, in Kansas City, Missouri. The meetings were attended by a wide variety of swine, equine and cattle groups from around the country. They were focused on various issues concerning importing and exporting livestock, promoting and selling U.S. livestock in foreign countries, and the allocation and proper use of USLGE funds, which are made available strictly for use outside of the United States. Special thanks to Michael Phillips and Diana Jones of the USLGE for preparing and organizing a very beneficial series of meetings.
