TWHBEA Resets Late Fees Clock as of June 1

LEWISBURG, Tenn. – The board of directors for the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) recently voted to reset the clock to June 1 on any outstanding late paperwork. This decision applies to late registrations and transfers of ownership and runs through the end of the year. Individuals with registration applications and transfers that are beyond 30-days old will get a new clock and the opportunity to avoid late fees.

“Unlike our amnesty periods in the past that give our customers a window of time to catch up on late paperwork, this program will give them a new effective date and run through the end of the year,” said TWHBEA Executive Director Tracy Boyd. “Any registrations or transfers, no matter how old, are no longer old as of June 1. But it’s important to know that the clock is ticking, and by July 1, they will be considered 30-days old again. So it’s important to take advantage of this opportunity now.”
