TWHBEA Staff Focused On Positive Promotion
Lewisburg, TN - Staff members of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ And Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) have been hard at work promoting our horse, our Association, and our industry. At every opportunity they have been spreading the word about the positive impact the Tennessee Walking Horse has on communities, the economy, and charities throughout the country.
Just this past Tuesday evening (January 28), Executive Assistant Diane White spoke to 23 businessmen and community leaders at a meeting of the Lewisburg, Tennessee, Lions Club and Lewisburg Leos. During her talk, she promoted TWHBEA and the Tennessee Walking Horse. She also discussed the importance of local horse shows and their positive impact on our industry as well as the hosting communities and charities.
Then, on the following Thursday morning (January 30), Executive Director Tracy Boyd and Marketing Coordinator Kristen Stegall made a presentation to Leadership Marshall County at TWHBEA headquarters. After showing a video about the breed, Boyd gave a talk promoting the Tennessee Walking Horse and the Association.
Both presentations were well received by their respective audiences and the Tennessee Walking Horse gained several new fans in the process.
The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association (TWHBEA), headquartered in Lewisburg, Tennessee, is the oldest and most prestigious organization devoted to the promotion of the breed. Founded in 1935, the breed registry was established to record the pedigrees of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Its goal is to maintain the purity of the breed, to promote greater awareness of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its qualities, to encourage expansion of the breed, and to help assure its general welfare.
