Wies Appointed Pleasure Horse VP

Rick Wies, of Big Arm, Montana, was recently appointed by the Executive Committee as Pleasure Horse Vice President to serve on the Executive Committee for the remainder of the 2009 fiscal year. Wies was recommended by the Pleasure Horse committee, which met on a conference call earlier in the month. Wies’s appointment came about, after Diane McMurtery resigned as director from Florida and Pleasure Horse VP.

Wies stated “I am thankful to the Pleasure Horse committee for their confidence in me and to the Executive Committee for the appointment. Diane left some big shoes to fill and I will work extremely hard to maintain the excitement and momentum, which she helped to generate. I will be depending on the staff and members of the Pleasure Horse committee to help keep us moving in a positive direction.  We have a suggested rule change out for six- month review, a World Versatility Show to plan, and several other important items to address by the end of the year. It is important that we keep moving ahead.”

Rick can be contacted by email at rwies@twhbea.com or by phone at 406-849-5067.
