2007 TWHBEA World Show Judges Announced

The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association is pleased to announced the Judges for the 2007 World Show to be held August 2-4, 2007 at the Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, TN.  The Judges panel includes Debbie Garfield of Brighton, CO, Joey Manos from Shelbyville, TN, and Holly Reynolds of Canby, OR. 

The premier event for versatile Tennessee Walking Horses, the World Versatility Championships provide the most acclaimed showcase for displaying the grace and athleticism inherent in our great breed. Divisions at this world-class show include English, Western, Driving, Youth, and Adult. Classes include pleasure, showmanship, trail, obstacle driving, reining, poles, barrels, over fences, and many more.  "As 2007 marks the 10th anniversary for the TWHBEA World Show we are pleased to have a well-rounded, highly-qualified judges panel that has experience in all aspects of the Versatility program” added Kristi Lane, TWHBEA Deputy Executive Director.  

This year a third day has been added to the show to include a host of rail and equitation classes.  Additional classes that have been added to the show bill include: 2A.  English Go- As-You-Please and 12A.  Western Go- As-You-Please.  A complete show bill and pre-entry form can be found here

The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ AssociationSM, headquartered in Lewisburg, Tenn., is the oldest and most prestigious organization devoted to the promotion of the breed.  Founded in 1935, the breed registry was established to record the pedigrees of the Tennessee Walking Horse.  Its goal is to maintain the purity of the breed, to promote greater awareness of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its qualities, to encourage expansion of the breed, and to help assure its general welfare.
