Leah Boyd
Leah Boyd has been involved with horses her entire life. Her father was noted Tennessee Walking Horse trainer and judge, Billy Boyd. Leah grew up riding Tennessee Walking Horses, Morgans and American Saddlebreds. She began showing walking horses at the age of nine and has shown weanlings, yearlings, pleasure and performance walking horses. Leah currently shows, breeds and raises Tennessee Walking Horses. She was licensed to judge in 2004 and has judged shows in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Virginia, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Florida, Wisconsin and Germany.
She works as a Human Resources Consultant for LBMC Employment Partners and is certified as a Professional in Human Resources. Her degree is in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. Leah is active in her church, the Walking Horse Trainers’ Auxiliary, and the Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management. She resides in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
